The new Fronius CL central inverter combines high performance electronics with an unique, modular system architecture. The new CL-generation inverters 36.0, 48.0 and 60.0 feature up to 15 identical power stacks working simultaneously with proven MIXTM technology, which ensures maximum output in partial load areas, security against system failure, and longer inverter life. 9, 12 or 15 identical power stacks share the work. These power racks are automatically activated or disabled depending on current solar conditions to maximize system output. The control unit also determines which, and how many, stacks are activated at any given time based on the operating time of each power module.

The Fronius CL series combines many other technological advancements to achieve continual high performance. The precise MPP tracking ability of the module manager guarantees the maximum energy harvest from each ray of sunlight. Additionally, automatic transformer switching provides steady inverter efficiency across the entire range of input voltages. This also allows the Fronius CL to achieve three separate efficiency peaks. And thanks to an innovative ventilation concept, dust and moisture are kept out of the power stack area.
