MHHnovotegra for Flat Roofs

Choose the optimal solar module mounting system for your flat roof from one of three different configurations. Regardless of whether it is mounted in an open or closed configuration, in the space optimized east-west configuration, or with or without ballast: the MHHnovotegra system fits to the individual conditions of your roof. Countless wind tunnel tests according to DIN 1055 standards have clearly demonstrated the safety and overall stability of the MHHnovotegra system for flat roofs. And because it is based on the already proven components from the MHHnovotegra family, you are ensured a quick, secure, and cost effective installation.

Closed Configuration – the Low Ballast Option

On flat roofs that have minimal load reserves, it is particularly important that the mounting system can be securely installed with a minimum of ballast. In the “closed and elevated” configuration, the MHHnovotegra system ensures the optimal aerodynamic profile for the entire PV-system, which drastically reduces the need for extra ballast. This configuration positions the modules at a 13° angle. And thanks to its overall flexibility, the system can be individually customized to fit with every roof shape. Long term stability and a quick and easy installation make this system the optimal solution for every flat roof. Perfect!

East-West Elevated Configuration – the Space Optimizing Option

Want to squeeze more Kilowatts out of your roof area? Then the “elevated east-west” configuration is the ideal solution. With this configuration you can generally achieve an overall system output that is more than 50% higher than other conventional elevated mounting systems with a 13° angle. Despite this, the overall cost of the system remains exceptionally low. In addition, this configuration offers all of the other advantages of the MHHnovotegra system: optimized aerodynamics, flexibility, and minimal ballast. The height of innovation!

Open Configuration – the Ballasted Option

If the roof surface can support the necessary amount of ballast, the “open and elevated” configuration, comprised of well known components from the MHHnovotegra family, is the ideal solution. Thanks to the adjustable module supports, the elevation angle can be set anywhere between 13° and 25° and thus adjusted to the local solar radiation conditions. And still, the open and elevated configuration needs relatively little ballast. Minimal material costs and quick installation – brilliantly easy!

Proven Security

All of the configurations of the MHHnovotegra for flat roofs system mentioned above have been extensively tested in the wind tunnels of Wacker Engineers in Birkenfeld, Germany under a variety of different wind conditions. The results of these texts have enabled us to develop and optimize particularly low ballast solutions for mounting solar modules on flat roofs. These results have also demonstrated the extreme safety and security of our MHHnovotegra mounting system.
