Innovative and convienient: the East-West Elevated Configuration – the Space Optimizing Variation

If you are looking to maximize the available output from your roof surface, then the East-West Elevated Configuration is the perfect solution. In comparison with conventional systems, this configuration enables you to install almost double the overall module surface on flat roofs. The substructure of this MHHnovotegra variant is also layed out in a cross-rail configuration, and the base rail has a threefold function: it serves as a ballast for the modules, forms the attachment point for the module rail, and also anchors the East-West module support set. The module rail consists of the base plate, which is directly attached to the base rail using our specially designed mounting screw for flat roofs. Then, the East-West module support set is locked directly into the base rail and a C-rail, equipped with our East-West module clamps, is attached to the support set – all without the use of extra screws. The modules can then be mounted: the specially designed module clamps are aligned with the mounting holes in the frame of the module, the module is inserted horizontally into the base plate, and is attached on the upper side to the support set with the East-West module clamps. The elevation angle of the modules is automatically set at 13 degrees.
