Our accessories join the individual photovoltaic components into a complete system and offer a maximum of security, regardless of whether you are wiring modules together or need to safely disconnect your inverter from the electrical grid.
Solar cables with a sufficient width ensure a minimum of energy loss in transporting the direct current generated by modules to the inverter. Additionally, good solar cabling should be highly resistant to ozone and UV-rays, and be able to withstand temperature fluctuations between -40 and 125 degrees centigrade.
The need for reliable surge protection is also an important factor in building a photovoltaic system; an appropriate surge protector minimizes the chances of expensive damage and loss of generation capacity caused by a lightning strike or electrical surges.
When repairing or doing general maintenance on a photovoltaic system, it is necessary to disconnect the electricity generating modules from the inverter. Every photovoltaic system is therefore required to be equipped with a DC load break switch, in accordance with German Institute for Norms (DIN) VDE 0100-712 regulations from 2006. Our DC-switches and string-boxes are built according to these guidelines and guarantee that your system is safe and secure.
