The refined technology of the module series REC Peak Energy (PE) allow for higher performance per square meter. A new cell design within the modules has increased the energy output of the entire module, and the new polycrystalline cells are now embedded with three bus bars to reduce electrical resistance. At the same time, improved electrical contacts reduce energy leakage. Every module of the REC-PE series contains 60 such cells, and achieves an overall module efficiency over 14 percent with a power tolerance of +2 percent.
