The Sunny Boy HF family reaches an impressive 96 percent peak efficiency, while the HF transformer (HF = High Frequency) securely isolates the system produced DC current from the electrical grid in accordance with the highest international standards. At the same time, the HF-concept allows for a significant reduction in the size of the transformer, which has enabled smaller and lighter inverters. The result is the highest energy output for an inverter of its performance class. With a maximum input voltage of 700V and an MPP voltage range of 175-560V, or 210-560V for the SB3000HF, SMA's new HF-series can be used with a wide array of system configurations. And thanks to the DC-Plug system SUNCLIX, the inverters no longer require any special tools to connect – making installation is easier, faster and more secure.
